Gregorio Lavilla - Pro-Ride Honda
The boss of the Pro-ride Honda team has said that the they will be on the grid for their first round of the World Superbike Championship in Valencia on April 5th.
Amid rumours that the team are in financial difficulty, Marco Nicotari stated that they had the same economic problems that everyone else was suffering with and that it would not make economic sense to go to the Phillip Island or the Qatar round.
On November 9th 2008, the Spanish rider Gregorio Lavilla signed for the Pro-Ride Honda team and will be aboard the CBR 1000RR in Spain for their first race.
Lavilla moved to the World Superbike Championship in 2008 where he reached for the Paul Bird team Ventaxia VK Honda, where he scored points in all but two rounds of the season, unfortunately the team were never at the front of the running.
