It was confirmed on Sunday by the Gauteng Provincial Government in South Africa that they will be holding a round of the World Superbike Championship for 2009.
The round is likely to be 15-17 May 2009 at the Kyalami Grand Prix circuit in Johannesburg for the first time since 2002.
